The Trust created in 2006 , a Chita Lodge initiative integrates local communities inhabiting areas adjacent to the Park into its Conservation Strategies. The bottom line goal of the Trust is to protect the Park with a favorable population of wildlife which will support tourism development in the area.

The Trust has a Field Office and a small Lodge at Matelo Village in Kawambwa District. The Lodge finances adminstative and operational costs of our Anti-poaching Activities. The Trust welcomes Volunteers for both conservation and research.
